Kim Huseman, M.Ed.
Kim is a Founding Partner and Chief Talent Development Officer for Leadership Partners. She is a Board Certified Executive Coach, a Certified Coaching Federation (CCF) Accredited Coach, and an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Accredited Coach.
She is a lifelong educator, and her passion for education is a major part of her story. Her parents, siblings, and husband were educators, and now her three children are educators too. Kim had the rare opportunity to design a high school from the ground up with cutting edge systems, processes, and curriculum. She emerged from this experience as a social action/service-learning expert, where she became a national leader and an international consultant in that arena. After serving 30 years in public education, involving school reform, redesign and start ups, Kim came to Rice University as the Associate Director of Rice Education Entrepreneurship Program, where she assisted school leaders for seven years with a focus on leadership talent development. Kim’s many years of experience and investment in education have allowed her to discover new ideas, lessons, and insight, which makes her uniquely qualified to be a team member of Leadership Partners.
At Leadership Partners, using a very personalized approach, Kim is able to further the development of the Houston area’s already successful principals and district leaders. She provides them with new mindsets, ideas, tools and reflective practices that can impact all aspects of their leadership and transform their schools and districts. Her unique style and coaching transform leaders in a profound and positive way.
